As the year comes to an end, I take a moment to reflect on the journey and milestones of 2025. This list serves as a brief personal record of growth, effort, and persistence.

  • Top 10: Awarded the 2025 National Graduate Scholarship

A truly rewarding moment, and a meaningful recognition of my efforts throughout the year.

  • Top 9: First Experience as an SCI Journal Reviewer

Gaining firsthand insight into the peer-review process helped me better understand how reviewers think and evaluate research.

  • Top 8: First-Author Paper Accepted by IROS 2025

My first acceptance at a top-tier robotics conference, a combination of hard work and good fortune.

  • Top 7: First-Author Paper Accepted by Expert Systems with Applications

My third SCI paper of the year, and the only one classified as a CAS Q1 journal.

  • Top 6: Responding to Expert Systems with Applications Reviews

Seven reviewers, over sixty comments, and more than seventy pages of response. After finishing this, responding to reviewers’ comments started to feel as effortless as breathing.

  • Top 5: First-Author Paper Accepted by IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering

My first IEEE Transactions paper, an important milestone and motivation to keep moving forward.

  • Top 4: Achieving an IELTS Overall Score of 7.0

A solid result, thanks to a decent English foundation and a bit of luck. Still, receiving this score was genuinely satisfying.

  • Top 3: Attending IROS 2025 and Giving an Oral Presentation

My first in-person participation at a top international conference. It broadened my perspective and allowed me to meet many researchers I had previously only known through papers.

  • Top 2: First-Author Paper Accepted by IEEE Sensors Journal

My very first published paper. While not a top-tier journal, it marked an important starting point in my research journey.

  • Top 1: Preparing and Submitting PhD Applications

Several months of focused preparation went into my PhD applications this year. I sincerely hope everything works out smoothly in the coming year.
