👋 Hey there!

I am Runjiao Bao, a Ph.D. student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where I conduct research in surgical and continuum robotics.

Before joining CUHK, I received my M.S. degree in Control Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). I received my B.S. degree in Automation from Jilin University.

During my master’s study, my research focused on the motion planning and control of autonomous mobile robots, particularly 4WIS robots operating in constrained and complex environments. My work combined path planning, trajectory optimization and deep reinforcement learning to improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of robotic systems in real-world applications.

At CUHK, my research focuses on surgical robotics, with particular interests in the modeling and control of continuum robots, intelligent motion planning, and multi-robot cooperation in confined environments.
